Chocolate Gooseberry Croissant – Yum yum dessert!

Ok, so if you answered yes to either one of the above, then we have something just for you!

A chocolate and gooseberry croissant.

It will take about 15 minutes to prepare and about 10 to 15 minutes to cook.

You’ll need the following:

125 ml of cream
150 g of caramelised condensed milk
1 large egg
50 g of dark chocolate, chopped
4 croissants
200 g of fresh gooseberries

How to make this:

Mix your cream and caramelised condensed milk together until it is smooth. Add the egg and half of the chocolate.

Slice your croissants lengthwise and place the bottom halves in an individual baking dish. Top this with some gooseberries and some chocolate.

Pour your filling in and cover up the tops of the croissants.

Sprinkle on the remaining chocolate and then bake in a preheated oven of 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes, or until golden.

This will serve four people.
